Are you the new Digital Associate Marketing Director we are looking for based in Budapest, Hungary? 

Do you have a strong background in digital marketing and a proven record of accomplishment in building and executing marketing, branding and communication strategies? Then you could be the new Associate Marketing Director we are looking for to implement and oversee the online marketing strategies across Europe and to expand our online offerings and presence. You will report directly to Head of Marketing and be part of a professional and high performing international team all working together to grow the business rapidly across Europe.

Risskov Autoferien AG is a fast-moving international online leisure company with around 100 employees, focusing on selling Short-Term Hotel Breaks to the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and German consumers. The company is growing successfully by promoting and selling competitive value for money packaged short-term hotel stays in 15 countries across Europe to couples that need a break now and then from everyday life.

Job Content:

You will in liaison with Head of Marketing and Market Managers be responsible for the company’s marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image. This includes i.e.:

  • Oversee the implementation of the marketing and brand strategy 

  • Set up and administer an annual marketing plan and budget in liaison with Head of Marketing and Market Managers 

  • Measure ROI and KPIs and focus on continuous improvements  

  • Plan and execute a marketing strategy for new and existing products or services 

  • Liaise with Sales, Product, Purchase and Market Managers to increase conversion and sales through cohesive strategies 

  • Building the digital marketing roadmap 

  • Managing digital marketing channels (e.g., websites, emails, Google, Bing, partner, social media and etc.) to ensure brand consistency) 

  • Develop specific campaigns to create, maintain and expand high levels of customer interaction and conversion 

  • Utilise data for marketing campaigns, analyse the organisation’s databases and external data 

  • Manage and refine the organisation’s social media presence 

  • Negotiate with media agencies, online partners, affiliates and secure “best in class” agreements  

  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, campaigns using pre-determined KPIs 

  • Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics 

  • Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase our market segment 

  • Motivate digital marketing and back-office team to achieve goals 

  • Monitor competition, conduct market study research, and provide ideas to stand out 

  • Stay up to date with digital technology developments

Experience that will support your success: 

  • Proven work experience (min. +7 years of management experience) as Digital Marketing Manager/Director 

  • Experience with International companies (multiple languages) is a must have. Must be fully fluent verbally and in writing in English and preferably in German 

  • High performance driven mentality and proven track record of outstanding results delivered in previous positions  

  • Strong people management, strong communication skills and project management 

  • High level in terms of analytical and numerical capabilities 

  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns 

  • Excellence in brand strategy and developments  

  • Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channel's function 

  • Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices 

  • Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, website performance, CRM software etc.

  • Develop new and continua's improvements in terms web design (UX, UI) 

  • MSc, BSc degree in Marketing, Digital technologies, or relevant field
